Inter and Chelsea are both interested in Hamburg’s teen starlet Jann-Fiete Arp according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
It is believed that Inter have courted Arp, who is still under contract with his boyhood club through to 2019, since the Under 17 European Championship’s in Croatia last summer.
The German came close to joining Chelsea last summer but opted to remain in his homeland instead. Despite the initial snub, Antonio Conte’s blues, remain very much interested and could go back in for him again next summer.
The 17-year-old has broken in to the first team at the Volksparkstadion this season and managed to get on the score sheet twice thus far and is widely regarded as one of the hottest talents in Germany at the moment. He has proved to be very prolific at youth international level having scored a very impressive 18 times in 19 caps for Germany’s Under 17’s.
