Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has that he has made a decision with regard to who will start in Inter’s clash with Chievo Verona on Sunday afternoon at San Siro.
“I have already decided everything,” the Nerazzurri boss posted to his Instagram account.
He also hit out at the media who have been critical of his use of the same eleven week after week in his ironic style adding “Also against Chievo I will start with 11 starters.”
Excuse me ,what Spalletti clearly means here , by that Instagram message is a general message of :
” What I have already decided is that whomever plays is to be considered ” a starter ” for us “.
Meaning that he considers and he has already decided ( long time ago) that whomever plays each different game is to be considered as valuable as a starter.
A ” group united and equal ” message ,perfectly aligned with his previous ,similar Instagram messages.
He does not mean that he has decided WHO plays and who doesn’t here ,but that whomever plays is to be always considered as good as a starter.
It’s more of a philosophical message of “everyone here in Inter is a starter “, to cut out the whole ” who plays ? ” questions going around in Italian media ,than the opposite message of ” I have decided the exact starting XI for the next game” that I believe is being misunderstood here.
Thanks for clearifying for us non-italians who can’t read the language, can’t depend on Google translate and clearly can’t depend on all articles here either 🙂
Yes I’m in the funny ,not too common position of being “kind of an Italian”, a “pretty much Italian” (my mom is Italian and lives there ) but just as much of an American and an English speaker.
If you have the time for it, I would like (suggest) for you to apply and join the sempreinter team! Feel like it would do good on some of the news where you need language knowledge to fully interpret.
Amen to that! I I consider Stefano as a well-informed guy with his own opinions. Would raise the bar in here.
Also, if you ever need anything to be simply translated from Italian just send it.
I can give you my e-mail.
Thanks mate, appreciate it 🙂
Oh, so the Jersey shore kind? 😀 Sorry – couldn’t resist, I am a simpel mass-media brainwashed kind of guy 😉 But really, I know what you mean. Wish I was in that position, but no one outside Denmark really care for our (boring) league.
Copenaghen, the most beautiful city in the world I swear.
Ok.
But seriously, I am not of ” one kind”.
Italian Americans or Italians in America or of two kinds:
1)
The third or fourth generations of Italians that moved here around 100 years ago, during the big wave of immigration , mostly from southern Italy .
2 )
Simply Italian born who later in life moved here for one reason or the other.
I am neither one of those
Ranocchia surely will start next match.
