D’Ambrosio: “I Want To Do Well At Inter For As Long As Possible”

Inter full back Danilo D’Ambrosio previewed Sunday’s clash with Chievo Verona in an interview on the sidelines of an event at Inter’s official tailors, Brooks Brothers.

“We have to think about winning with Chievo, no matter what happens between Napoli and Juventus. Chievo is a team that can challenge any opponent, we must have the right mindset without underestimating anything,” D’Ambrosio told Tuttosport.

Asked on Luciano Spalletti’s ways of making everyone feel involved D’Ambrosio added, “We all feel we can start, even those who play less feel part of a project. Anyone going to the field will be ready.”

“The month of December will be crucial for our season but it is forbidden to talk about the scudetto because we are being realistic.

“Last year we finished too far away from those who won to think about filling the gap this year. For now we are only aiming for the Champions League. Spalletti is doing a lot of psychological work and the results have come.”

D’Ambrosio concluded by discussing club captain Mauro Icardi and his own future with the club.

“He is a top-class player and top clubs are interested. But, as far as I am concerned, my goal is to continue to do well with Inter as long as possible. “
