Inter are interested in Lautaro Martinez and former striker Diego Milito could help the Nerazzurri secure the youngsters signature according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The 20-year-old striker belongs to Milito’s former club Racing Club and has a €9 million release clause which the Argentine club are scrambling to either remove or increase it amid a wealth of interest in his services.
The Argentine youth international is under contract with the Buenos Aires based outfit through to 2020 and is also subject to interest from Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Fiorentina to name just a few.
Martinez is just one of three Primera Division talents that Inter are currently courting. The Nerazzurri have Boca Juniors duo Cristian Pavon and Gonzalo Maroni also in their sights.
A January move for any of the three mentioned is possible but Inter will only be able to sign one due to all players counting against their non-EU player quota for the season which already has one of two spaces filled.
