Skriniar Has Sights Set On Getting Inter Back In UCL

Ahead of Sunday’s match between Inter and Chievo, Inter centre back Milan Skriniar previewed the game in a brief interview with the clubs television channel, Inter TV.

For the first time this season the Slovakian will have a new partner beside himself in central defence with regular partner Miranda suspended. The 22-year-old is however not phased by the change and believes the Brazilian’s replacement Andrea Ranocchia is of similar quality.

“We are expecting a difficult game because Chievo are a physical and compact team, but we have to win in front of our fans. Ranocchia, like Miranda is a great player.”

Skriniar then spoke on the importance fans support has on his game.

“Fans support is something very important for me as well as the confidence from the manager. In football these are things that mean very much.”

He concluded the interview discussing the goals for the remainder of the season.

“We are where we want to be and for us it is important. The goal is Champions League qualification, but let’s see what’s happens in the upcoming games.”
