Hatrick hero Ivan Perisic spoke to Inter TV after Inter’s 5-0 win today at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
“It is the first time in my career that I have scored a hattrick, I scored four goals in a game once, but never three. I will take the match ball home today and give it to my son Leo, who will probably sleep with it tonight. I am very happy with the win as well as my goals. I feel good right now, I am training hard to improve. We are all having a good season and we can still improve. Now we go to Turin to win against Juventus.”
He went on to speak about Nerazzurri manager Luciano Spalletti explaining that “the manager tells us we have to go forward but we all need to lend a hand at the back too. It is not easy to always play to the maximum like this every time but we are on the right track and we can certainly take a lot of satisfaction from this season. This year so many things have changed.”
