Cagliari are looking to receive no less than €35 million to let go of midfielder Nicolo Barella according to FCInterNews.it.
The Rossoblu’s demands will not be met by Inter, who are very keen on the 20-year-old, as they have other ideas with regard to a transfer formula and fee.
The Nerazzurri plan to make a loan with redemption offer for the Italian youth international. The offer would consist of €18 million and two young prospects but the length of the loan is yet to be determined whether it be a season or two.
Inter could make their move prior to the January transfer window commencing and would loan Barella back to Cagliari for the remainder of the season to ensure he gets regular playing time.
Barella has made an impression on Inter scouts on numerous occasions this season and has made a total of 16 appearances for Diego Lopez’s side in all competitions.
I’m not sure about him… He is a too raw product in my opinion. I’d go for Verdi instead, he would be ready to fight for a starting spot.
