Juventus are long term admirers of Emre Can and according to Tuttosport, Inter appear to have some interest too.

The Nerazzurri’s interest would appear to suggest that Luciano Spalletti could be looking to change his system from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3, where Can would be deployed as a mezzala.

The 23-year-old is only contracted to Liverpool until the end of the season and from January 1 will be available to poach on a pre-contract agreement.

The Bianconeri had an agreement with the German midfielder in the summer but could not reach one with the Anfield club. Juventus ultimately remain first in the race to sign him but Inter’s fine start to the season could sway things in their favour.

Can has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side this term and been a regular starter having made 17 starts. He joined the Premier League club back in 2014 from Bayer Leverkusen and has made around 150 appearances since.
