Pordenone’s president Mauro Lovisa spoke ahead of tonight’s Coppa Italia match with Inter.

“We are calm and peaceful because we have nothing to lose. it will certainly be a good experience and a maturity test.

“We want to honour our shirt and make a good impression. It will help the self-esteem of our players regardless of how it will end tomorrow,” Lovisa told FCInterNews.it.

“Off of the field we tried to play down the technical differences between us and the Nerazzurri and we tried to win at least on social media,” he joked.

Lovisa concluded discussing what the future could hold for both clubs.

“We have a very good relationship with Inter, but to welcome some of their youngsters on loan it would be necessary for us to be in Serie B. I hope that Inter win the Scudetto and that the Pordenone will be promoted to Serie B. We will no longer be able to joke about not having been in Serie B, however!”
