Inter Sporting Director Sabatini Flies Out To China For Summit With Zhang

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Walter Sabatini is flying out to China for a summit with Inter’s Chinese owners Suning.

The Milan based sports journal reports that “there is a need to understand the intentions of the Zhang family on the whole sporting project. With regards to Jiangsu the main objective is to prolong the contract of current manager Fabio Capello by a year whose contract expires in 2018.”

They went on to speak about the situation regarding Inter: “It is thought that he will collect all the details to relay back to Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini, Inter’s transfer market men.”

The plan remains that of a self-financing market in January. So a player may well be sold – possibly Joao Mario – or they will have to work on a tight budget. Unless the family decide to spend big on one big name signing…”

In recent weeks and months Inter have been linked with a number of players including Arturo Vidal and Javier Pastore.
