Udinese striker Kevin Lasagna spoke with Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of the Bianconeri’s trip to San Siro this weekend to take on Inter.
“Inter are a great team and Mauro Icardi is very strong, if they are allowed a half-chance they exploit them, they also do not concede many goals thanks to a goalkeeper like Samir Handanovic. They have a great coach in Luciano Spalletti too.”
The 25-year-old was a Nerazzurri fan when growing up and asked if he still supports them.
“A little bit, yes, but not as much compared to when I was a kid. Now I am a professional player and I even scored goals with Carpi against Inter, of course it would be nice to do it with Udinese too.”
Pordenone were capable of keeping Inter out for 120 minutes in their Coppa Italia tie on Monday night and Lasagna believes he and teammates can stop Inter also.
“We know how to do it,” he concluded.

Guys, this game is another huge challenge for Inter at this time of the year. In the last couple years, Inter was easily beaten 0-1, 1-2, or tied 1-1 (scored at 95th minute) at Giuseppe Meazza with games like this. We need to work as a group, concentrate, and make results. I hope Inter would win 2-0. Thanks Mauro Icardi!
that correct, udinese can be very dangerous, looking into our recent performance against rube and pordenone, spaletti should be worried
You talk about stopping, you’ll get to meet someone who will teach you everything about stopping in action.
