Inter have a very serious interest in Nicolo Barella but completing a move for the midfielder in January will be difficult if not impossible according to a report from Sky Sport.
The young central midfielder is viewed as the ideal reinforcement for the midfield and has mesmerised many at Inter with his performances for Cagliari this season.
The Rossoblu management are unwilling to let their top prospect depart in the upcoming January transfer window but could very much be powerless come June. Cagliari want no less than €30 million for the Italian youth international but Inter are not willing to offer more than €18 million upfront and bonuses.
Barella has starred for Diego Lopez’s side making 16 appearances in Serie A scoring two goals in the process. He has been near ever present since Cagliari’s promotion to the top flight two seasons ago and is nearing 50 Serie A appearances in the Rossoblu shirt.
on wikipedia they say he didn’t score a goal in his senior career since 2015.

Better than Vecino and Gaglia, not a real 10 tho, that is the most important for now, we need a midfielder that scores a lot.
If Joao Mario played for Cagliari, they would open an auction for him start from $35-$40 probably. I’ve seen a video of Barella on Youtube, yeah he’s good, has a potential. But $30 is way too much. Saying him better than Vecino & Gagli too is exaggerated. We should wait until Spalletti does his magic with Joao Mario in my opinion.
Well it was the same situation with Gaglia and Vecino. G is paid more than 30 mil with far less potential and performing worse in Atalanta than Barella is performing now. Veratti was bought by PSG for a bargain so it is always a cat in a bag situation whn you buy a young player. Would you pay the 30 mil for Gagliardini now? Of course not, but you’d gladly pay 50 mil for Veratti.
No way is he better than those two.
