Inter vice president Javier Zanetti and CEO Alessandro Antonello both spoke at last night’s youth team event.
Zanetti addressed the many in attendance by recalling some of the dreams he had as a child.
“Looking at all of you makes me relive the dream from when I was a child, I was able to realise it thanks to Inter, a fantastic club that welcomed me here in Italy and will always be my family. I will never forget my time with Inter.”
He then spoke on the multitude of trophies won by Inter’s youth teams this year.
“Here there are many trophies, but I think the most important thing are the values through which they have been achieved. Never forget them when you wear this shirt.”
Antonello then chipped in with, “here we are seeing the future of our club, I can feel the energy off of all of you here. Remember that you are wearing very important colours that carry a great worldwide history. Always commit yourself, both on and off the pitch, because before being a player you have to be men and women. who work with passion for your dream to become reality.”
