Ramires has long wanted to join Inter since the initial rumours regarding a move to the Nerazzurri surfaced a few months ago. Tuttosport however report that there are still obstacles blocking a potential move coming to fruition however.

For starters, Jiangsu Suning manager Fabio Capello does not wish to lose out on one of his star players for the first few months of the Chinese season. Secondly, Jiangsu expect Ramires’ wages to be paid in full for the duration of the loan even if they are willing to waive a loan fee to their Italian cousins.

Ramires initially represented a low cost transfer – something that Inter will have to rely upon unless their are sales – but the news that they will be expected to pay his wages makes things difficult with every penny a prisoner at the moment due to Financial Fair Play.

The Brazilian midfielder, formerly of Chelsea, moved to China last January for around €28 million. He made 32 appearances in all competitions in his first season in China and scored 11 times and made four assists.
