Lazio game will be my most scared game.
It is still in my memory, years years ago, when we lost against them on the last match of the season which costed us failing to get the scudetto. I was a teenager. I watched that game by peeping from my bedroom while my father was in front of the tv. My dad is Roma suporter.
In that season, three teams could have won the championship until the last match of the season. What a last truly thrilling scudetti. Also Lazio supporters wanted Inter to win the match to ensure that Roma could not win the scudetto. They cheered for Inter the whole match, booed and threatened their own players. But in the end we lost 4-2, and rube got the scudetti.
I hate facing lazio at the end of the season. That would be a curse. We even punished by them 2 years ago in Mancini era. After that lost, we were declining horribly. I fully hope we end this Lazio curse. Go get Dvrij, Sabatini.
My take away from this game:
Cancelo is average, maybe he can get better but idk yet. Verdict is still out on him.
Gag continues to show he’s an average player, really doesn’t bring much passing or defensive wise. Vecino is way better.
Icardi had 3 chances where he should’ve scored, including the penalty. We rely way too much on him, when’s he’s off it’s almost a guaranteed loss. Someone else needs to be able to score.
Need a quality backup striker. Eder is good player when we need to put pressure on a team late in the game (10mins left or so) but he is not a quality backup who will come in with 30mins and make a difference.
We play on the wings way too much and have no other attacking plan when it’s not working. Need to be able to play thru the middle.
Also Sassuolo’s pitch sucks. Chucks of grass coming up everywhere.

Agree with you but Eder has been bad so far. D’ambrosio was not playing on his position though, so I can understand that. But for Eder, IMHO, he always been invisible. He was good few months ago just as a sub to make run and win a foul to waste time when we lead the score, but in opposite situation like today when we needed to score he was not helpful at all. So yeah, I am f*ckin mad about him. From all the hates towards Brozo, I rather to keep him than eder.
