Inter manager Luciano Spalletti spoke to Inter TV ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A fixture way to Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Inter go into the game off the back of a humbling 3-1 home defeat to Udinese last weekend, third in the table & without the suspended Matias Vecino. With the Uruguayan midfielder unavailable he was asked if there would be any tactical changes “His absence is one that a club like Inter must be able to deal with. A team like Inter cannot depend on one player only. Vecino is a good player, he has quality, but we are always capable of putting out a strong team.”

He was then asked about the run in to the end of year that sees Inter play 3 times in the coming week against Sassuolo & Lazio in Serie A & a mid week Coppa Italia game against Milan too: “It is clear that having a midweek game shortens the recovery time. I will have to take into account the efforts made during the week & determined situations. We will have to put out the best team according to our opponents.”
