Donadoni Believes Inter Linked Verdi Can Be Worth €50m

Bologna manager Roberto Donadoni was asked about the future of Simone Verdi with the Rossoblu during the press conference ahead of the Udinese game tomorrow. The media asked Donadoni on the valuations being thrown around in the media.

“Why only €25 million? For me, he can be worth €50 million,” told the reporters.

Inter are among the many interested in the 25-year-old who has starred for the Sardinian club this season. Verdi, who has also played for the likes of Carpi, Torino and city rivals Milan in Serie A, has been ever present in Donadoni’s side this term.

In 19 appearances in all competitions, the Italian international, who primarily plays on the right wing, has contributed six goals and five assists.

Verdi has stressed that he does not see himself leaving the club in the upcoming January transfer window but has not ruled out the possibility of departing the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara club in the summer.
