In the upcoming January transfer window, Inter will be working to improve the team immediately but at the same time they will work with the future in mind.

Inter have long followed Atalanta’s Bryan Cristante and Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella and will be in the stands this weekend as the two sides face off according to CalcioMercato.com.

The Nerazzurri’s market men Piero Ausilio and Walter Sabatini have two different strategies when it comes to the two midfielders.

For Barella, Inter want to agree a deal with the Rossoblu that would see the 20-year-old transfer to the San Siro in the summer. Barella is valued at €25 million but Inter hope to lower the price by including some young players in the deal.

Inter are thinking similarly about Cristante just yet however. Cristante is also subject to interest from Juventus and Roma so the Nerazzurri will need to make a decision quickly if they do not wish to miss out on the 22-year-old.
