Atalanta President Antonio Percassi has spoken out on the continued interest in a number of his clubs players including Bryan Cristante, who has drawn links to Inter.

“He has been one of the main protagonists of our season, he, along with Mattia Caldara, will remain until the end of the season,” Percassi told Corriere di Bergamo.

Cristante is one of a number of central midfielders to have caught Inter’s eye this term alongside the likes of Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella.

The Italian international, who is a graduate of Inter’s city rivals Milan’s academy, has made 24 appearances in all competitions and scored nine goals in the process. He is currently on loan with the Bergamo club from Benfica but it is expected that the Atalanta management will take up their option to redeem him before shopping him. The 22-year-old has also attracted interest from the Premier League in particular from West Ham and even Manchester United.
