Inter Milan target and Sampdoria’s attacking midfielder Torreira was recently interviewed by RADIO 1010 and spoke about how many are finally noticing him after his transfer to Sampdoria from Pescara: “I’ve been in Italy for four years now and after two seasons in the Serie A I was finally being noticed from when Sampdoria acquired me from Pescara.”
The Uruguayan international added: “I am thrilled where I am and I have a long term contract which ties me to Sampdoria. More importantly though is that I am very much concentrated on today.”
The Sampdoria midfielder has been linked to many top clubs in the five major leagues especially with his outstanding form to begin the 2017-2018 campaign. Inter and Atletico Madrid are two clubs that are very interested in the player. Earlier this season, Sampdoria defeated Juventus three to two in Genoa and Torreira’s strike simply put him on the map in all of Europe.
