According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, it is very unlikely that Inter will be able to sign Javier Pastore during this month’s window. He explained the reasons why live on Sky Sport:
“The Argentine earns a lot and Paris Saint-Germain intend to make as much money as possible via his departure. At the moment, the Nerazzurri’s budget is zero, and the management has made this clear to Luciano Spalletti. If Suning do not change their strategy, I cannot see how a player of his calibre can join Inter.”
The news comes as another of the club’s main transfer targets – Ramires – also seems likely to stay put at his current club. Jiangsu Suning coach Fabio Capello has decided that he wants the Brazilian to be an integral part of his plans in 2018, and has therefore blocked a potential move to Inter. It remains to be seen where Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio will switch their efforts to next.
DiMarzio says almost like it’s true 98%
So id better not hold my hopes too high on Pastore.
We deadly need a true attacking midfielder to add some creativity to our attacking build up play, with Pastore or someone else we could move Borja to his more natural position as a central midfielder in stead of Gagliardini. That would in prove our build up a lot!
Even if we had money, we proberly couldn’t sign the check…
When you have Sabatini and you have zero budget to spend. Doomsday! Like you have a Ferrari but no fuel.
Hmm.. Saba is used to it- to find soon to be quality players for very little money. He did it superbly at palermo and at Roma too so not much will change for him at Inter. Even though I still believe we will raise some money somehow so we can spend on 1 maybe 2 players in January. Players that will come in on loan deals I guess.
