In the wake of Friday night’s 1-1 draw against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Inter are set to pursue several transfer targets as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Atalanta centre-back Alessandro Bastoni is set to join the Nerazzurri this month, having been signed last summer with a view to linking up with his new teammates in the future. Meanwhile, Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio intend to snap up Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij, whose contract expires in June.

As Luciano Spalletti said during his post-match interview in Florence, he is badly in need of a new midfielder and so the club are set to continue their pursuit of Jiangsu Suning midfielder Ramires.

Sabatini and his lieutenants are also working on a deal to bring Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu to San Siro, which they see as a low-cost option in comparison to other players on their radar.
