It has been widely thought and reported that Paris Saint Germain’s Javier Pastore was Inter’s number one target for the role of trequartista with Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jiangsu Suning’s Ramires the alternatives.
However, Corriere dello Sport report that while the number one target is Argentine, it is not Pastore and it is instead Boca Juniors man Cristian Pavon. The Nerazzurri have sparked an interest in taking the 21-year-old, who has also been linked with Premier League side Arsenal, on a loan basis.
The Argentine international has made 12 appearances for the Buenos Aires side this season and netted three goals and contributed six assists. He signed a new five year contract back in August which ties him to the club until December 2022.
Moreover, Pavon is working on acquiring a European passport which will help Inter out due to having just one non-EU spot remaining and other targets with non-EU status in mind.
Aha… would be a typical move by Sabatini; in stead of overspending on a well known player he goes finding the “next one” for cheap!
Don’t know this lad at all and doubt we´re getting him in know but as I said; would be a typical Saba-move.
Besides, looks like Everton wants to ship Devy Klaasen off. He has sucked for them of course but was a great attacking midfielder playing for Ajax and is still only 24 years old – worth a loan shot??
Admit it..We can’t and will never be able to use a youngster as first team..
Not only youngsters, but also creative players. We kill their talent.
What do you mean? Icardi was a youngster, Skriniar isn’t that old, even Gagliardini is still only 23 – if you´re good enough you play!
Yes..Three of them are exception..But don’t forget Coutinho, Pirlo and many others youngsters who failed just because they only played a few minutes and then judged they were not good enough for Inter..
I mean I don’t want Inter to do the same mistake every season..If they really, I mean very2 really, want a youngster then give them a chance, not just become a bench warmer..
Agree, the Moratti administration was hopeless with youngsters and didn’t do a thing to plan ahead but today we have a different approach. We are gambling on youngsters and that’s why we have gotten in Baccin, as Ausillio’s right hand. That man has become famous for his knowledge on youngsters in Italy, and Sabatini wad brought in because he’s world class when it comes to finding the next big thing.
Yeah..I hope they can learn from the past..We can’t rely on Candreva or Valero for every weeks..
come here pavon, come !
after six months you will be considered as a moron without talent, with two left legs, no clue about football etc.
trust me.
Be patient. Hahaha
How can’t we learn from the past??
Have the management forgot about Roberto Carlos, Philippe Coutinho, Matteo Kovacic, and now Gabriel Barbosa and even Joao Mario??
I mean they are all a good footballer.. but somehow they failed in our team with different reasons.. Why don’t we pursue those who clearly have the most possibility to adapt very fast in our team?? And this is mid season btw..
I hope this is just a rumour.. IMO, we really need someone like Pastore, someone who already know Italian football..
Roberto Carlos situation was different
We should sell Mario in last summer and use the money to buy Vidal or Nainggolan.
