Milan’s Portuguese Primavera forward Tiago Dias spoke on compatriot’s Joao Mario and Joao Cancelo in an interview with Portuguese newspaper Record.

The 19-year-old winger first spoke on Joao Mario, who has divided opinion amongst supporters this term and struggled to reach the expected heights. Nevertheless, Dias was full of praise for the 24-year-old who is Inter’s second most expensive signing of all time.

“In Italy everyone speaks well of him, he is a player of great quality and we all know him.”

He proceeded to discuss full back Joao Cancelo, who after struggling to break in to the team initially has really come on in the past few weeks.

“Cancelo, despite only having arrived this season, is already showing his talents: In the derby match in the Coppa Italia he had a great game.”

Dias, like Cancelo, made the switch to Italy last summer, joining Inter’s rivals from Portuguese giants Benfica.
