Inter legend Giuseppe “Beppe” Bergomi spoke on the latest transfer rumous concerning Inter, namely the ones mentioning Barcelona duo Rafinha and Gerard Deulofeu.

“I do not think Rafinha is the right man for Inter,” Bergomi told TuttoMercatoWeb Radio.

“The Nerazzurri need players able to guarantee a change of pace. They need a real alternative to Antonio Candreva and Ivan Perisic. Gerard Deulofeu would be fine because he knows the league and has both a range of passes and pace. The Spaniard can also play in the place of Perisic, who would then be the playmaker. Deulofeu is a valid alternative to the two wingers at the club.”

Rafinha is a newer name on Inter’s radar while Deulofeu’s name has been linked for a number of weeks. Both players are understood to have given their blessing to moves but reports on the stages of deals are differing with some suggesting agreements have been reached and others suggesting they have not yet been reached.
