Crotone are in talks with Inter over a loan move for Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti according to a report from FCInterNews.it
Crotone’s interest in the 18-year-old attacker dates back to the summer when they had a failed attempt to sign him. Further meetings between the clubs are expected in the coming days to further discuss the possibility of a deal.
The Rossoblu are however not alone in courting the highly rated striker. They face competition from fellow Serie A sides Cagliari, Chievo Verona and Sassuolo for the teen’s signature. Moreover, as per Gazzetta dello Sport, English championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen on signing him.
At the same time though, Inter, unless they sign a back up to club captain Mauro Icardi, may be unwilling to part ways with Pinamonti. Pinamonti has found playing time limited this season and may have to force his way a little to get some playing time in the short term.
There are some news about Dortmund offering us Schurle.. If this is true we can get Icardi backup and he can play as winger too
I think if we can get Sturridge or another suitable back up for Icardi, sending Pinamonti on loan would really be the best call here as he needs minutes to get accustomed to the Serie which he won’t get at Inter.
We should only let him go to a team where he is guaranteed to be in the mix for a starting slot. Most of the clubs mentioned here seem to be good options as all are struggling upfront and Pinamonti would realistically be in with a shout to be first option off the bench.
Really hope he goes on loan and gets some minutes!!!
