Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has spoken out on the current rumours circulating concerning winger Andre Schurrle.

Reports have suggested that the German club have offered the 27-year-old out and Inter are among those who have been offered the former Chelsea and Wolfsburg player. The German international is highly versatile and can play on either wing, through the middle as an attacking midfielder or as an out and out striker.

Zorc firmly denied the rumours when speaking to local media outlet Ruhr Nachrichten replying with a firm “no” when asked if there was a move on the cards for Schurlle, who has struggled to find his form this season having failed to score in his eight appearances in all competitions.

Schurlle joined the club in a €30 million deal 18 months ago from the aforementioned Wolfsburg and has also attracted interest from the Premier League. Namely from London based duo Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
