Inter technical coordinator Walter Sabatini has saw an enquiry about the availability of Marco Reus knocked back by the wingers club Borussia Dortmund according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 28-year-old, who once attracted the interest of the likes of Manchester United and many other of the top European clubs, has not played at all this season due to an injury. The current injury is just the latest setback for the former Borussia Monchengladbach attacker who spent a lot of time on the sidelines through various injuries last season also.

Reus can play on either wing as well as an attacking midfielder and as a striker which would be very helpful to Inter but it is unclear whether or not they will make a second attempt to land him after the initial knock back. Since joining the club back in 2012, Reus has made close to 200 appearances in the famous yellow and black shirt.
