Inter have agreed a deal in principle with Barcelona midfielder Rafinha over personal terms and are now in talks with the Blaugrana over the Brazilian’s transfer to the San Siro.

Mundo Deportivo report that a redemption figure as the clubs work on a loan deal. Inter want a loan with optional redemption with redemption figure to be less than €20 million while Barcelona want Inter to have an obligation to redeem the 24-year-old and the redemption fee to be €20 million minimum. An obligatory redemption is something that Inter have not yet contemplated but negotiations are ongoing.

Rafinha has just returned from a long term injury that has had him sidelined since May last year. He has not yet made an appearance for Barcelona this season due to this and there are some fears regarding his physical condition after so long out of action.

The brother of Bayern Munich star Thiago, Rafinha came through the famed La Masia academy at Barcelona and made his first team debut in the 2011/12 season.
