Former Napoli and Palermo Striker Edison Cavani has established himself amongst one of the worlds most prolific strikers in recent years. His career exploded into life when he joined Napoli from Palermo in the summer of 2010. His performances and goals for the Italian side earned him a move to French team Paris St. Germain in 2013 and he has continued to grow as a player and remain consistent scoring over a hundred goals for the Paris club.

In an exclusive interview with Sportnotizie24.it, his agent Fernando Guglielmone confessed that a future in the black and blue stripes of Inter is not just fantasy. Cavani like Inter target Javier Pastore returned back late to training after the Christmas break and his agent was quick to try and calm and settle the nerves of fans.

“I can say honestly, that we have no intentions of leaving France at the moment.”

With Inter’s captain Mauro Icardi currently attracting interest from Europe’s top clubs such a Real Madrid and PSG he was asked if the French side are genuinely interested and if Cavani could be an option for Inter as a possible replacement for any deal that would see the Argentine striker move away from the San Siro.

“There has been no contact and I don’t believe that Inter could afford him at the moment. Who knows what will happen in the future though, anything is possible in football.”
