There is still no breaking news on the negotiations between Inter and Barcelona for the transfer of Rafinha, but it’s believed the two giants are down to the final details.
For the transfer to be completed, Inter and Barcelona are just missing an agreement on the redemption fee at the end of the Brazilian’s loan, as underlined by Gianluca Di Marzio on his website: “After yesterday’s bid, Barcelona Sporting Director, Pep Segura said that the value of Rafinha’s redemption fee is considered higher than what the Nerazzurri have offered.”
In other news, the agents (Alex Boesch and his father Mazinho) of Rafinha have confirmed that the possibility of joining Inter is welcomed by the player, who has apparently already agreed personal terms with the club as well.
Therefore, rather than increasing the redemption fee outright, the Nerazzurri are aiming to add performance related bonuses instead, in order to get closer to what the Catalan club are demanding.
