Lokomotiv Moscow’s Portuguese midfielder Manuel Fernandes, is one of many midfielder’s who has been linked with making a January transfer to Inter. Do you think Fernandes would add something to the current Inter team?

“I think that he can help Inter. If the coach believes in him, he can bring a lot of benefit.”

What is his position and possible alternative position on the pitch?

“His main position is an attacking midfielder [number 10] but he can play deeper as a central midfielder too.”

What do you consider his strengths and weaknesses?

“His strengths are that he is technical, a good passer of the ball, good dribbler and good shoot on him. He’s a leader. His weaknesses are that his coach must have confidence in the player and project that to him for the player to perform well.”

What are the chances of him moving to Inter?

“I think it will be very difficult, because he has a good contract and now the team is at 1st place in the league.”

Can he handle the media pressure of playing at a big club like Inter?

“He is a very private person but when he deals with the media he is calm.”
