According to Yahoo France, Clement Grenier – who spent part of last season on loan at Roma – may be on his way back to Italy soon.

Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Inter are two clubs who are interested in his services with La Viola manager Stefano Pioli rating him highly and wanting the player to join his side over his previous employers.

The French midfielder has represented his nation across all youth levels and has also made five appearances for the senior National team since his debut in 2013. The 27-year-old Frenchman was once considered as one of the most promising youth footballers of his country but never quite lived up to the hype.

Grenier – who has just six months remaining on his contract with Lyon – is renowned for his technical ability, dribbling and free kick taking. His preferred position is central midfield but he has also played as a second striker and attacking midfielder in the past also.
