Having failed to re-discover the form shown during his early years in the first team, Clement Grenier is understood to be on his way out of Lyon and his exit could happen in the coming days reports in the French media have reported.

Le Progres report that the 27-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe, including many from Italy. Inter are among those interested in the Frenchman’s services and he could also come in on the cheap given he has just six months remaining on his contract with the French side.

Grenier is a product of the Lyon academy and was promoted to the first team in 2009 and has went on to make over 150 appearances since. He has struggled to force his way in to the first team plans this season – since returning from a loan spell in Italy with Roma in the summer – making just one appearance all season.
