I think a lot of Inter fans expect too much from Gagliardini when he’s only a defensive midfielder. And he does that quite decently I think most of the time. Vecino and Valero are responsible of the creative department!
I don’t think he was playing defensive mid with Atalanta though. He was more like CMF being effective on both sides of the pitch.
If we see him as a DMF then his 25M price tag is too high and Medel is actually better defensively.
