Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and his AS Roma counterpart Eusebio Di Francesco have decided to field the following 22 players in tonight’s Serie A clash between the two sides at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.
Spalletti has opted for Davide Santon instead of Yuto Nagatomo on the left hand side of defence whilst Antonio Candreva returns to his right wing spot after starting the match against Fiorentina on the bench. Di Francesco has decided to start with Edin Dzeko up front who is flanked by Gerson on the right wing and former AC Milan player Stephan El Shaarawy on the left.

I know ..him just all of him , Dalbert the player and the summer transaction altogether …and also the more general fact of seeing Gaglia always used as a starter when he is honestly so limited in play creation that even JM and Brozo in their laziest days are better in that sense , those are the two things that turn me completely off , and I am not even so critical of Gaglia personally but…
Otherwise I am still defending ..NOW ..Santon , Naga ,JM , Brozo ..of course Candreva …I am a MOSTLY positive and players advocate type of guy.

That should have taught us something already .

All we need is Rafinha to come in and actually be an effective AM. Valero will slide into the CM position and Brozo/Gag will rotate in the MF. Dalbert will come in for Naga, as a sub. We need to give Kamaroh a chance on the wings when Candreva is playing poor or go out and find someone better than Eder as a sub.

Honestly, I don’t understand Spalletti! First even Stevie Wonder can see that Borja isn’t trequrtista, Gagliardini, Santon and Candreva were very poor too many times. I don’t get it, when the things doesn’t work lately, why you won’t try to change the system and starting lineup, but stubbornly insist on the same. And why when Roma was brought five in defense, defend very low with all eleven players, you will made such stupid and coward substitution Dalbert for Santon?
Rafinha for Borja, Verdi for Candreva, Barella/Torreira for Gaglia, and Mr. X for Santon. And we would be ready for upcoming season, right?
I’m not sure, if that would be enough. We must be much more flexible tactically, just can’t achieve something playing the same every time and with the same players. We have to start use much better set pieces, now we can’t create opportunity to save our lives. And i guess we will need at least another central defender, Miranda is not very young anymore and vice Icardi.

We could have, should have, and would have won this game had it not been for that fucking idiot Santon. He has single handedly cost us around 10 points in the last few games. If Spaletti does not bench him then serious questions need to be asked about the depth of this team. Nagatomo and Dalbert can not be worse than this guy.
The team played poor, with a lot of missed passes (Gagliardini needs to take a long hard look at himself after that game, he was seriously shit), but had we pressed them like we did in the final 5-10 min during the whole game then we would have got the 3 points.
Well a total of 4 points vs Roma is nothing to sniff at, but the poor performances need to be fixed. We have an easy set of fixtures next, so hopefully we fix our form

Roma were not better, we shouldve won. Santon fked up and we just sat back all game until 75min. We had more chances then them both halves…. Stop starting Vecino+Gaglairdini, only one should start in MF and it should preferably be Vecino for the time being. Gag is unreliable, you know it’s bad when he gets subbed at half.
You know what’s the saddest thing? Santon choked again, but Dalbert doesn’t look any better and we have even Nagatomo too!
Out of the three as much as it pains me to say Nagatomo has played the best this yr. Nagatomo should start and Dalbert should come in as sub with around 65mins. His speed and fresh legs will help late in games. He really needs to improve his crossing though, it’s atrocious.

Honestly we could’ve easily and most likely deserved to win here. The amount of chances, Roma didn’t have one serious chance apart from the goal, and even that was due to a moronic mistake made by a single player. It frustrates me that we didn’t even play that bad, sure, it wasn’t perfect at all, but we had so much more attacking danger than Roma. And in the end we only got a point to show for it… People talk about our luck but even with the winter collapse, we have been really unlucky lately in some matches. So frustrated yet again…
I guess that the silver lining is that we’re still undefeated against the top teams, with only 2 defeats so far.
Udinese and Sassuolo fucked us hard, unexpected. Next games will be easier.
