Spalletti Has Two Doubts For Inter vs Roma: Probable Line-Up

Before tonight’s important game against top-4 contenders Roma, former Giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti has some doubts about which players he should start.

As ususal one of those doubts is who should start as left fullback as Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport explains: “After trying Yuto Nagatomo as left fullback for a long while, Spalletti shuffled the cards on Friday. Nagatomo’s competition is as always Italian full-back Davide Santon but it all comes down to what player Roma coach Di Francesco launches on Roma’s right wing. For the rest Candreva will return to the starting eleven after the Fiorentina match. New signing Lisandro Lopez is part of the squad and will ready for a substitution. The other doubt is who should assume the role as a trequartista where Borja Valero has the upper hand over Marcelo Brozovic.”

Here is the probable starting formation:

INTER (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Joao Cancelo, Skriniar, Miranda, Santon; Vecino, Gagliardini; Candreva, Borja Valero, Perisic; Icardi.
