Inter continue to face difficulty when it comes to signing Ramires. As a result, Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Nerazzurri have started to look at alternatives to the Brazilian midfielder and have already compiled a shortlist.

Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho, Lokomotiv Moscow’s Manuel Fernandes, LOSC Lille’s Yves Bissouma, Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Nice’s Wylan Cyprien are all understood to be part of the list of names.

Gazzetta also however report that Inter’s technical coordinator Walter Sabatini bringing in a “Mister X” can not be ruled out as he has been known to do so in the past when he was sporting director at Roma and Palermo.

Despite the alternatives already being looked at, Sabatini will still seek another meeting with the officials at the Nerazzurri’s Chinese sister club Jiangsu Suning to try and strike a deal for the 30-year-old former Chelsea midfielder. Ramires is a financial fair play friendly move for Inter and despite the link between the clubs, the Chinese outfit do not want to lose one of their star men.
