Former Inter full back Federico Dimarco has spoken on the possibility of returning to the Nerazzurri one day in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 20-year-old was involved in one of the many deals made by Inter in the summer to help break even for financial fair play purposes with the Italian youth international being shipped out to Swiss club FC Sion.

“I would like to come back, of course! I think that, more generally, any young player once owned by Inter wants to return,” he said.

Dimarco then proceeded to discuss some of the memories he has from his time with Inter.

“The memories I have without a doubt are beautiful ones. I came to the club when I was seven years old and I got a lot of satisfaction, winning many trophies with the various youth teams. My debut under Roberto Mancini in the Europa League and in Serie A are obviously unforgettable moments for me.”
