Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore is not the only Argentinian player that Inter Director Walter Sabatini wants to reunite with at the Nerazzurri.
According to the report, Sabatini is already working on reinforcing the Nerazzurri ahead of next season and has identified Premier League outfit Tottneham Hotspur’s Argentinian winger Erik Lamela as a prime objective. Di Marzio reports further that Inter will be able to make an investment in the summer for one of their prime objectives and the former Roma winger is very liked by the Inter Directors.
Furthermore, Di Marzio reports, Sabatini has already made first contact with Lamela’s agent to discuss a possible move in June. Sabatini signed Lamela to Roma in the summer of 2011 for a fee of €12 million with an additional €2 million in add-ons and sold him to Tottenham for a whopping £30 million including add-ons two summers later.
Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his website that Serie A giants Inter Milan are already planning for next season, and have identified Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela as a transfer target.
Lamela, 25, is currently on the fringes of the Spurs squad in north London after double hip surgery kept him sidelined for more than a year, first suffering the injury way back in October 2016.
The former Roma ace struggled to overcome the problem and although he returned in November 2017, he has made just two Premier League starts since then – coming on as a substitute in nine other league games and clocking up just 273 minutes of league action.
The likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min are all above the 23-time Argentina international in the pecking order, and it could tempt both Spurs and Lamela into a move.
It was reported on Thursday that fleet-footed star Lamela had been offered to his former side Roma with talks already taking place between Spurs and Roma director Monchi, but Di Marzio claims Inter are in talks with Lamela.
Here we go again.
Idk he never actually got to his pick before to me he is avarage
I think everybody in this site knows how much I want him to be a Nerazzuro!
He could work out or then just suck. Loan with option would be perfect with him, because if he can replicate his Roma form he could be great. He is very injury prone also. Maybe he fits in Serie A better than PL, maybe he is a flop… Hard to say.
Spal knows how to deal with fast wingers
Summer planning? Your winter job havent done enough. JUST focus
First contact? This is like 20th contact.
we have been trying to sign this fuck for at least 6 transfer windows now XD
if he can stay healthy, i would love to have him on our bench
