Gazzetta dello Sport have examined the current mercato situation that Inter find themselves in and some of the possibilities that could come to fruition in the final week of the transfer window.

Inter remain interested in Daniel Sturridge and are in talks with Liverpool about a potential deal. Andrea Pinamonti’s name has come up in negotiations between the two clubs and it is understood that the Premier League side are interested in loaning Inter’s 18-year-old starlet.

Inter are also still keen on Sevilla’s Joaquin Correa and could secure him through a swap deal involving Marcelo Brozovic. Sevilla manager Vincenzo Montella likes the Croatian midfielder while Correa is interested in playing for Inter.

Finally, there is Javier Pastore and despite Inter facing what many believe is an uphill battle, they are still trying to secure the 28-year-old. Inter officials recently met with the midfielder’s agent for a second time and are hopeful that the player’s relationship with Paris St. Germain’s leadership could help a move go through, even if only on a temporary basis.
