A long term injury has not stopped clubs from sparking an interest in Inter youngster Zinho Vanheusden according to reports coming out of the defenders native Belgium.

Standard Liege are understood to be keen on taking the 18-year-old defender according to dhnet.be. The 10 time Belgian champions wish to take the centre back on loan for a year and a half and have an option to make the move permanent.

They are however not the only club interest in his services with Club Brugge also believed to be interested in signing Vanheusden.

Vanheusden has been sidelined since the early weeks of the season and is not expected back until around March. He is under contract with Inter for a further 18 months but Inter plan to hand him a new five year contract renewal shortly. Talks over the renewal had already started but his injury disrupted talks between Inter and his representatives.
