Paris St. Germain club captain Thiago Silva has revealed there is no bad blood between himself and teammate Javier Pastore.
The Brazilian defender hit out at the exaggerated reports that followed after he spoke out on the Argentine playmaker’s situation amid continued interest from Inter.
“Sometimes things happen, especially in interviews, that people take to be controversial. People don’t talk about the football we’re playing or our matches. The questions are always related to the controversy. This is really exaggerated and it makes us very sad. And that ends up getting into the dressing room.
“Recently, I gave an interview that Pastore didn’t like. The next day, I sent him a message and we talked in the dressing room in the best way possible and it was completely resolved. Now all this is forgotten, we expect a lot from him in our next games. Flaco is essential for our team.”
