Danilo D’Ambrosio returned from injury today for Inter in their Serie A game away to SPAL. Inter drew 1-1 conceding late on in a game they needed to win. After the game the defender spoke to Inter TV: “All that remains is a lot of bitterness. We must do better. We will have to face starting from Tuesday all the problems from our recent bad run of form. We hill do this face to face. We then need to try and give our response on the pitch straight away Saturday evening against Crotone. We weren’t phenomenons before but we aren’t out of the Champions League places. We will have to battle it out with all the other teams fighting it out for the third and fourth places in the league, trying to get ahead of them in the process.”
When asked about his injury he replied: “to return sooner than planned, you have to double your workload. Both Miranda and I decided not to have holidays during the winter break in an attempt to get back to the pitch playing sooner than originally planned. We all feel good to be a part of this group, but we would feel better if we could win a game. All I need now is just to try and get my physical condition back up.”
When asked about his place today with Cancelo playing on the left side of defence he replied: “Both of us are able to play either on the right or the left hand side. Spalletti even told us before that he may even switch us over during the game. We should not rest and settle for what we have in the game. We should have tried to finish the game off. Even against Roma, when we scored the equaliser we should have tried to go forward and find the winner. We lacked the desire and the awareness to go and make it 2-0.”
Men of words, but when it comes to man up and match those words with actions these players lack a lot of courage, however the coach was never our problem looking at the scenario that repeat it self every season, the FFP is the major factor the led huge clubs like Inter to add top class players, which had led to make a huge gab between us and clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona, furthermore clubs like PSG enjoyed making suspicious transfers without punishment, the players we are adding currently are below Inter class and the results are a proof, its a more managerial problems at Inter than what a coach or players can do, if we cannot beat Spal, its as simple as Suning can’t take Inter to glory again, the same thing is going at Milan, because their future is not that promising, Seria A fate was decided once the FFP applied, those in top will remain in top, we better act under table and use Suning China club buy players from Inter with higher value to add fund for transfers, and buy players like Ronaldo and Nainggolan, or combine our Inter with AC Milan which lead Seria A to lose the most demanded derby in Italy, or sit tight and sell Icardi and Perisic and wait for the next 10 years gathering money to follow the FFP rules and then start to create a new project, and suffer watching Juve take it all in process.
wewh…sadly, from nobody’s pov like me, seeing they play just like this: the players are too dependent to the others to make change/move forward while themselves not daring enough to make ‘that’ change. and if there is somebody is willing enough to raise and move, the others suddenly fall out because seems like nobody is interested enough to move forward…weird. they want a change but they don’t want to change…weird.
He is so bad, misspasses, horrible with the ball. Not even good defensivly, had to kick down Kurtic 50 times!
So true, not even a mid-table team starting player.
He said it himself during one of his most lucid moment, he is not Maicon… If you read between the lines, he was trying to say “Im just an average FB and do not expect me to do great things”…
So as long as Dalbert is not even an option, I’d rather have him than nagatomo or Santon. What sucks is Cancelo being moved to the left when he was bossing the right flank the past few games
