Paris Saint Germain boss Unai Emery has spoken further on the current situation of Inter linked Javier Pastore during his press conference ahead of the game with Rennes tomorrow night in the Coupe de la Ligue.

“I would be happy if he remained because for us he is an important player. I talked a lot with him, what he says outside is his responsibility. He is a great player, I told him that when he’s ready he’s important; last year he missed many matches due to injury. At the beginning of the season I explained to the team that the most important thing for us is that they are always ready to play.

“After the winter break he delayed the arrival due to a personal problem; I respected him, then he trained again with us and put in some good performances. It is best for me and the team for him to stay here but it depends on what he thinks. For me all the players are the same, maybe he thinks he has to play more because he wants to go to the World Cup.”
