Laudisa: “Contact Between Inter & PSG Over Pastore Is Frantic”

Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa has brought an update on the current situation concerning negotiations between Inter and Paris St. Germain for Javier Pastore.

“Javier Pastore’s agent Marcelo Simonian is shuttling between Paris and Milan and the problem in negotiations remains of a financial nature. PSG is very rich but has to justify their summer investments to UEFA and has just about sold Lucas Moura to Tottenham, a transfer that could help the Nerazzurri.”

Laudisa continued, “The contact between the clubs is frantic and the Inter leadership are to hold another meeting today in order to take stock of the situation.”

Pastore has shared a desire to move on to pastures new with the goal of making Argentina’s squad for the upcoming World Cup. Negotiations between the clubs have been going on for a number of weeks and would have no doubt been concluded far sooner had neither club been affected by financial fair play.
