There are less than three days remaining in the mercato and Inter are scrambling to acquire their last targets before the transfer window shuts for another season.
As has been reported for the past few months, Javier Pastore is one player who is wanted by Inter in this transfer window. Premium Sport today report that Suning’s technical director Walter Sabatini and Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio are currently working out the final details with Paris Saint Germain so that the deal can go through.
They are also considering a plan B but the priority, as it seems, is the Argentinian attacker. The 28-year-old has stressed a desire to get more playing time and opened up to a potential move elsewhere to get the desired amount of play time he is after which will help him in his bid to try and make the Argentine squad for the upcoming World Cup.
get him
Get Pastore + Ruiz, offload Éder or Brozovic (ideally ship out both)….this would give us top 4 finish
We would need Eder on the bench. And we desperately need a winger!
Btw, Ruiz is too good!
I’d go for Hakim Ziyech this summer as I don’t think we could get him on loan from Ajax. We definitely need an alternative for Perisic/Candreva. It’s just a shame as both our wingers are out of form at the same time, but then again our whole midfield is as well
Everybody knows how much I like Lamela to wear Inter shirt, so I’d go for him :))
Both really good players. Lamela is quicker, both good at linking up play, both have a goal in them, both can play as winger/No 10 or Support Striker. Ziyech is slower, fantastic crosser, through balls, free kicks (something not had since Mihajlovic or Sneijder). Problem with both Perisic and Candreva is both can only play as wingers, for goodness sake Spalletti doesn’t even let them swap wings to try something different, Perisic is always on left and Candreva right side
In my opinion an alternative is Karamoh, but it’s not understandable for me why he didn’t play even 15 minut with that Perisic’s shi…ty form.
I completely agree but for some reason which only all our manager/ex managers know we will only go to the youth when there is absolutely no options left I.e. injuries/bans, even then we’d rather play a player out of position (Cancelo) at the weekend. The big question is why do we sign players based on potential like Karamoh when they simply cannot displace an out of form duo, who would instantly get dropped at other big clubs.
Not enough time
