Zinho Vanheusden is one step away from leaving Inter on loan this transfer window according to the latest reports.

As reported by reputed Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the player is all set to complete a loan deal to Standard Liege in his native Belgium. In this loan deal, the Belgian club will have an option to extend his stay at the club past the end of this current season.

Vanheusden has recently signed a contract extension with the Nerazzurri through to 2022 but has been in recovery mode since the end of September due to a knee injury which he sustained while playing in the UEFA Youth League for Inter’s Primavera side.

Premier League outfit Liverpool were also keen on him with their manager Jurgen Klopp understood to be a big admirer of the 18-year-old central defender and his talents. Club Brugge were another club to have come in to links with Vanheusden in recent days also.
