Sassuolo’s general director Giovanni Carnevali has arrived at Inter headquarters to hold talks with the Nerazzurri over Andrea Pinamonti according to reports.
The Neroverdi have long been interested in Inter’s 18-year-old striker but in order to acquire Pinamonti they may have to let Alfred Duncan return to the Nerazzurri as part of any deal Premium Sport detail.
It is unclear whether it would be a permanent exchange of the players or a loan exchange until the end of the season that may or may not have redemption options attached.
Duncan joined the Nerazzurri aged 16 back in 2010 and made three first team appearances before being sold to Sampdoria in the summer of 2014 for a mere €2.8 million. The Ghanaian midfielder, now 24, then joined Sassuolo the following season in a €5.7 million deal and has went on to make no less than 78 appearances for the MAPEI Stadium outfit since. Duncan is currently under contract at Sassuolo for a further two and a half seasons.
if its a permanent move, there should be a buy back clause.else its a stupid move. he is one of the most talented youngster in Italy.
Sure, Icardi ‘injured’ so lets sell Pina and play Eder instead… only Inter
I just hope we are not letting him go for Duncan..
Swap loan for Berardi and move Candreva to midfield.
This is only way I see this deal working, we pay Berardi salary until the end of the Season with a buy out clause at the end of the Season.
That way Berardi get his childhood dream, we secure a good player like Berardi that can play anywhere and this what both teams need Berardi playinf around better players an Pinamonti getting playing time in mid level team!!!
