Gazzetta dello Sport was harsh but fair towards Inter this morning with the headline: “Inter don’t know how to win. But this is not the worst news.” In reflection to the two months that have seen Inter fail to register a single victory in Serie A, Gazzetta further stick the knife in by saying: “the worst news is that Inter don’t know how to play anymore.”

The scathing attack on the Milan based club continued: “The dilemma now is whether the players need a bed, a study and a good psychologist or a teacher of fundamentals together with tactics. Actually, no. There is no dilemma, Inter need all of these things. Another draw, another stop. Now the fifth in a row. Looking back a little further Inter are now 10 games without a win in all competitions including the 2 Coppa Italia games played in December against Pordenone and Milan. If Inter manage to register another non win in their next game it will be the worst record in the club’s Serie A history. The Crotone of the exalted Walter Zenga almost gave a footballing lesson to a group of players much more famous than them and certainly much higher paid. They managed to come back from a goal down at the San Siro (the first point at the stadium in the club’s history) deserving everything and only really suffering towards the end of the game when Inter introduced Karamoh and Rafinha in a bid to get the winner, who at least showed a bit of energy. Which brings us to poor Rafinha. What must have gone through his mind watching this Inter team when thinking back to the Barcelona team he left behind in Spain? To think that some people thought that Pastore wasn’t needed in this Inter team: it’s almost laughable when you see the lack of ideas in the midfield for Inter.”
